FHS Cultural Week 2026 – One Health Edition

The Faculty of Health Sciences, through AMSUN Art, is hosting the 3rd Edition of FHS Cultural Week under the theme One Health—a globally significant framework recognizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health.

This year’s edition seeks to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, environmental consciousness, student leadership, and Afro-centred creative expression within the University of Nairobi community.

Dept of Surgery hosts lecture on advancing newborn hearing screening in Kenya

The Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi, in partnership with the Hear Kenya Initiative and the Baker Institute for Children with Hearing Loss, successfully hosted a lecture on Advancing Newborn Hearing Screening in Kenya.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, students, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for strengthening early hearing detection and intervention across the country.
