Early introduction into alcohol and substance usage (ASU) in adolescence has been directly linked to development of ill mental health in adolescents.

This is according to a recent study by researchers from the University of Nairobi who link this early matriculation into ASU as a cause for development of grave health and social issues amongst adolescents during their formative years followed by continued and problematic use in adulthood.

On March 10th, something quietly powerful unfolded. A ribbon was cut. And with it, Art and truth unveiled.

The KNH campus library cloakroom transformed into a sanctuary of expression. For one week, its walls carried more than color and form. They carried conviction. Each piece stood as both a question and an answer: What does peace demand of us, as future healers?

There are moments when a campus stops rote teaching – and becomes a living, breathing force. Art for Peace Month-long Contest and Exhibition was one such a one.
