UON-CHS COVID-19 Research Forum Webinar, 14th July, 2020

This forum is organized by the College of Health Sciences COVID-19 Response Committee.

It is a series of sessions for the purpose of peer review of research protocols on COVID-19.

The sessions will be held every Tuesday from 9am to 10am.

Prof. Muthoni Mathai from the School of Medicine will make a presentation titled: The acceptability and effectiveness of a tele-medicine based approach to offering psychosocial support to frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya

CHS COVID-19 pandemic response and research committee holds inaugural research forum

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) COVID-19 Response and Research Committee held inaugural virtual research forum on 7th July, 2020.

The main objective of holding the session was to discuss research being conducted at CHS towards COVID-19 response.

There are several exciting research projects lined up for presentation during the sessions that will be held every Tuesday from 9am to 10am.

Dr. Ombajo: Reopening will be associated with rise in COVID-19 cases

Catch up with Dr. Loice Ombajo, a senior lecturer at the University of Nairobi and Head of Infectious Disease Unit at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) interview on Citizen Television.

Dr. Ombajo has been on the frontline of case management at KNH since Kenya reported the first coronavirus (COVID-19) case in March 2020.
