AMSUN hosts 14th scientific and innovation conference

The Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN) held the 14th edition of its scientific and innovation conference on the 20th and 21st of June, 2024 at the Chandaria Centre for Performing arts, University of Nairobi Towers.

The association holds a scientific conference that aims to nurture young scientists and foster positive research culture among them in the field of health.

7th AFREhealth Annual Symposium

The African Forum for Research and Education in Health Limited by Guarantee (AFREhealth) (https://afrehealth.org/) is an interprofessional health professional network that works to improve the quality of health care in Africa through research, education and capacity building.    The network includes about 70 institutions and 700 individuals.

Study reveals positive attitude of nurses towards eternal feeding of critical care patients

Scholars conducted a study to determine the levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of critical care nurses on enteral feeding of critically ill patients.

 A sample of 135 critical care nurses from the Kenyatta National Hospital. Out of these, at least 96% had positive attitudes toward enteral feeding of patience in critical care.
