Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in collaboration with Kisii County has organized a free diabetes screening and awareness at Kisii stadium, Kisii County on Thursday 14th November 2019 to mark the World Diabetes Day. The theme for this year’s event is “Family and Diabetes; Diabetes concerns every family”.The primary aim of the World Diabetes Day and World Diabetes Month 2019 campaign is to raise awareness of the impact that diabetes hason the family and to promote the role of the family in the management, care, prevention and education of the condition.The Free Diabetes Screening Services will include; Blood sugar, blood pressure, Dental checkup, Eye checkup, Foot screening, Nutritional screening, Breast screening and PAP Smear screening.Screening starts at 8.00am to 5.00pm.
