The First Aid Club at the University of Nairobi hosted an enlightening Basic Surgical Skills Training on January 24th, 2025, at Nairobi Surgical Skills Centre, Chiromo.
The training was conducted in collaboration with the University’s chapter of Students Surgical Forum. Senior students in surgery led the training. They brought their expertise and enthusiasm to provide hands-on training to 20 eager junior students.The club board recognizes this as one among many collaborations aimed to create platforms that allow upskilling of the club members. It is actually, a step further into our overall philosophy and goal:
“Creating a Family of Competent Medics.”
